Religion and Object Relations

Using object relations theory, consider at least three examples of religious life and develop a psychological critique of each one – i.e., show how it illustrates a mature or immature/genuine or inauthentic/healthy or unhealthy way of being religious. You can use examples of people in your life, yourself, and/or a religious group. Your paper must draw from the ideas of Winnicott and Pruyser, and it should offer some comparisons with other psychoanalytic perspectives.

The paper should be no less than five double-spaced pages long with 12 point font and 1” margins.
